In going through videos on YouTube, I discovered one in which the famous physicist Michio Kaku discusses the New York building collapses on 9/11 with those towers of intellect, Opie and Anthony. As the three of them puffed away about how people like me are totally stupid for thinking that maybe something other than airplanes took down the Trade Center buildings: 1, 2 and 7, Michio Kaku blurted out something that’s always stayed with me:
“Controlled Demolitions are done from the bottom. You put dynamite on the bottom of the building, not the top. You’d have to be an idiot to put dynamite on top of the building and have it implode.”
It still has me scratching my head because that’s what happened, right…WTC 1 and 2 collapsed from the top down. WTC 7 did not. That each of the three collapsed right into its own footprint is what spurs on the conspiracy theories of controlled demolition. So what was his point, exactly?
Weirdly, if someone jumped out of a window on the 110th floor at the moment Tower 1 started to fall, that poor unfortunate soul would have landed maybe a second before the tower completely disappeared. I really wished Opie or Anthony had asked Michio Kaku about that because that’s the other reason for all the conspiracy talk about controlled demolitions. It seems awfully fast for buildings to collapse if there are no charges knocking out key columns. Just airplanes. Top to bottom.
Besides the conspiracy of controlled demolitions, there’s an oddball assertion by Judy Wood and her followers that the twin towers didn’t collapse at all, but were in fact vaporized by directed energy weapons. Apparently, even some so called truthers aren’t buying the controlled demolition argument, either.
