I have always been fascinated with the topic of death. Who isn’t. We all have to go sometime.

You’d think death is death, but there are in fact levels of socially accepted death. Fetuses die very quietly, unable to get beyond the womb. Socially and morally unacceptable. On the other hand, battlefield deaths are loud and fiery and impact a huge swath of mankind as well as land, but okay, so long as it’s for a good cause. I don’t know if this cartoon succeeds in satirizing how society accepts war deaths while being sanctimonious about preserving the lives of fetuses. But whatever. I got to draw a cool explosion.
