There are a wild and extensive assortment of Trump Golfing editorial cartoons peppering the internet. Since being inaugurated, Donald J.Trump has played an astounding 471 rounds of Golf. I really didn’t want to be left out of the party, cartoon-wise speaking, so I came up with a hilarious idea of Trump swinging and missing, leaving a coronavirus looking golf ball on the tee.

Too simple. I could not possibly be the only cartoonist who thought this up. Sure enough, I found a lively little cartoon by Joel Pett of the Lexington Herald-Leader doing the exact thing. Crestfallen, I pursued the idea anyhow, hoping that as I drew it, a new angle would come to mind. This happens from time to time, and boy I was happy that this was one of those times.
