I decided to go ahead and take a schoolism course to learn to use the program Procreate on my five year old Mac Pro. It has its pros and cons, but overall I like it better than Photoshop. But for on the go, it just doesn’t beat my little Galaxy Note tablet.

Anyhow, this is my first Procreate project. I worried that the use of donkeys might make it seem like I’m picking on Democrats in some obscure way, so pervasive is the political symbolism of donkeys and elephants representing the two parties. I went with it anyhow, since the gag doesn’t work otherwise. I also liked the idea of this patrician Hoohah in a golden chariot depending on some broken down asses to pull him along, totally sounding like stereotypical hillbillies.
